The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.7 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

About Council 8120
Chartered in June of 1984, the council was named for Father Gerald F. Sullivan, a former priest of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church.  The members of this council are dedicated to the ideals of service, support and commitment to our Lord and his Church.  We currently provide financial support to five seminarians  who are in various stages of study.  We carry out an annual handicapped drive (tootsie roll) and support the Special Olympics.  We also provide support for the youth of our church and help to support the needs of our parish.  One of our favorite events is to decorate the church for Christmas season.  We are also very involved in the local community and participate including three parades each year.  For information you can contact District Deputy Chet Sedke at: (352)-343-1046 Email: ch2at@aol.com or Grand Knight Tim Simpson at: (352) 669-9630 Email: simpson_tim@prodigy.net

Meetings

Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.  The 1st meeting is a business meeting at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, 218 Ocklawaha Ave., Eustis, FL 32726.  The 2nd meeting of the month is social and is held at various restaurants in the local area.  Contact the Grand Knight for information.
